The BaKaFORUM contest deadline is approaching

The BaKaFORUM contest awards excellent television programmes and multimedia products with a high educational value in the fields of education and society. Aditionally BaKaFORUM awards television programme proposals from Africa, Asia and Latin America. Entry deadline is November 13, 2009

The BaKaFORUM contest is designed for educational, societal or science television programmes, multimedia products and television programme proposals with clearly defined educational aims and target audience. In terms of content it's based on understanding of contemporary themes and issues, aiming at global education and global learning.

In terms of format, programmes fitting into an attractive youth, adult or large audience program are most welcome.
 
All entries must have been produced by, or under the entire responsibility of the entering organization within the two calendar years preceding the contest. Submissions must be in English. There is no participation fee for contest entries.
 
You can enter productions in the following categories:
o    Educational societal or science television programmes
o    Educational multimedia products
o    Television programme proposals from developing or transition countries
o    School or youth television programmes

BaKaFORUM TV and Media Forum is a meeting point and platform for exchange and cooperation for broadcasters, independent producers as well as cultural, educational and societal organizations interested in quality TV work, global education and development education.
