EDN WEEKLY - The news service preparing you for the coming documentary week
ISSUE #43: 2 - 8 December 2018:
Deliver Your Message to the Heart of Documentary Professionals

Dear Reader,

Has Winter been knocking on your door as well this week? At least here in the north, we're starting to feel some serious "local cooling", so it's time for some warm thoughts. And what could be more heart-warming than to see the labor of talented documentary filmmakers being rewarded, especially when they have participated with their project in one of our EDN workshops? This was recently once again the case and we're delighted that directors Claudia Tosi, Leonor Teles and Nina Forsman (and their production teams) took home various festival awards and, in one case, substantial production funding from the Finnish Film Foundation. Their films previously took part in our workshops "Docs in Thesslaloniki", "Lisbon Docs" and "Twelve for the Future" (you can read more about it here).

Apart from that, we would like to remind you that we still offer our weekly documentary consultation every Friday between 10:00 and 12:00am. We call it "EDN on Demand" and it's an individual video meeting where our members can get useful advice on any questions they may have regarding the doc industry or, more specifically, their current doc project. The next meeting will be on Friday, 7 December, so please feel free to book your meeting via

And as always, we hope you'll have a great weekend and see you soon!
